Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the administration/operations of security and human resources activities at the respective assignment are effectively carried out.
- To monitor the operations activities at the site under management to ensure compliance of Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
- Ensure that security guards are fully aware of their roles and responsibilities at the assignment
- To attend Morning and Evening Roll Call whenever required and constantly brief/motivate the man (emphasis on discipline/create self belonging)
- To investigate all variances and incidences and submit the Incident Report Form within 24hrs to Manager
- To oversee the manpower requirement and ensuring that the agreed establishment numbers and quality are observed
- To provide constant feedback on guards performance and advises on assignment activities and developments
- Plan, organizes and execute security loss prevention programs for the site
- To achieve the Company’s budget in terms of turnover, profit and operational costs control
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a senior supervisory position in an industrial organization in the security or loss prevention department.
- Service experience as a senior officer in security, armed forces or the police force will be an advantage.
- Preferably Male, age between 26 to 40 years old.
- Strength in leadership and interpersonal and communication both written and oral
- Self-Directed Leader with solid Problem Solving and Decision Making skills
- Strong knowledge on safety needs and security control at workplace
- Confidence and enthusiastic with high level of integrity
- Preferably with good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa
- Preferably with good presentation skills, combine with strong outgoing personality and people management skills.
- Preferably computer literate
- Full-Time positions available

Gaji Minima RM900 bermula 1 Januari 2013- Cabaran dan Peluang
Bermula 1 Januari 2013, perlaksanaan Gaji Minima (GM) akan dikuatkuasakan di seluruh negara. Dan bagi syarikat kecil ia dilanjutkan sehingga Julai 2013.
Dengan perlaksanaan ini, semua pekerja di Malaysia akan menikmati gaji minima serendah RM900 sebulan kecuali perkhidmatan domestik seperti pembantu rumah, tukang masak rumah, tukang kebun, tukang cuci serta pemandu peribadi.
Perlaksanaan gaji minima ini adalah tertakluk dengan waktu kerja sekurang-kurangnya 8 jam waktu bekerja sebenar. Sebagai contoh: 8.00 pagi hingga 5.00 petang = 9 jam - 1 jam rehat.
Juga dengan beberapa kaedah perlaksanaan yang boleh didapati di Jabatan Tenaga Kerja berhampiran anda.
Dengan perlaksanaan skim gaji ini, ianya memberi peluang yang besar kepada pekerja untuk menikmati gaji yang lebih baik berbanding sebelumnya. Ini kerana gaji pokok terendah adalah RM900. Namun begitu, di pihak majikan pula mengharapkan agar pekerja yang menikmati gaji tersebut dapat memberi pulangan yang setimpal dengan perlaksanaan skim ini.
Dijangka akan berlaku kenaikan kos upah serta perkhidmatan 30% pada tahun depan dan juga pengambilan pekerja akan dibuat dengan lebih teliti bagi mendapatkan tenaga kerja yang lebih mahir atau separa mahir ataupun yang mempunyai pelbagai skil (multi sklling).

GAJI MINIMUM SEKTOR SWASTA
Gaji Minimum Sektor Swasta telah diumumkan oleh YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Hj. Abdul Razak, Perdana Menteri Malaysia dalam Majlis Pengumuman Gaji Minimum Sektor Swasta yang telah diadakan pada 30 April 2012 di Pusat Konvensyen Antarabangsa Putrajaya (PICC). YAB Perdana Menteri dalam ucapan beliau telah mengumumkan tiga perkara penting berkaitan gaji minimum iaitu:
1. Gaji minimum akan meliputi pekerja dalam semua sektor ekonomi di seluruh negara,kecuali pekhidmat domestik, yakni pembantu rumah, tukang kebun dan sebagainya;
2. Kadar gaji minimum bagi Semenanjung Malaysia ditetapkan pada kadar RM900 sebulan atau RM4.33 sejam, sementara bagi Sarawak, Sabah dan Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan sebanyak RM 800 sebulan atau RM3.85 sejam. Kerajaan juga menyediakan mekanisme pelaksanaan supaya gaji minimum yang ditetapkan ini tidak membebankan majikan dan tidak merugikan para pekerja dengan membenarkan penyerapan sebahagian elaun atau bayaran tunai tetap dalam perkiraan gaji minimum; dan
3. Tarikh mula kuat kuasa pelaksanaan gaji minimum ialah 6 bulan daripada tarikh Perintah Gaji Minimum diwartakan. Walau bagaimanapun, untuk memberi ruang dan peluang kepada majikan kecil atau ‘micro enterprises’ membuat persediaan sepenuhnya agar perniagaan mereka tidak terjejas, tempoh kuat kuasa bagi kategori ini ialah 12 bulan daripada tarikh Perintah Gaji Minimum diwartakan.
Pengecualian 12 bulan ini tidak meliputi kepada firma profesional seperti klinik-klinik pergigian dan perubatan, firma guaman, firma arkitek, firma juru perunding dan sebagainya, walaupun mereka mempunyai bilangan pekerja 5 orang atau kurang, mereka perlu mematuhi gaji minimum ini dalam masa 6 bulan.
Rakyat Malaysia khususnya majikan dan pekerja sektor swasta dialu-alukan untuk menyalurkan maklum balas, pandangan dan pertanyaan berkaitan Gaji Minimum Sektor Swasta yang telah diumumkan dan pihak Kementerian akan memberikan jawapan dan maklum balas sewajarnya.
