Site Manager
Penang, Terengganu

Responsibilities:

1) To plan the Master Scheulde for all projects that engagned by the Company;

2) To plan, direct, supervise and control all commercial, technical and administrative functions of the projects engaged by the Company;

3) To ordinate with purchasing team,QS team and site team to ensure the master schedule is followed timely;

4) To liaise and ordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and vendors during project implementation.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Computer Literacy: MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCad.
• At least 8year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• 3 Full-Time position(s) available. One in Penang and one in Kuala Terengganu and one in KL

Construction Manager
Terengganu - Gong Badak

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall construction site management and to lead the site team to complete the assigned project in timely and effective manner
• To liaise with consultants/ clients/ sub-contractor on technical matters in relation to construction works
• To ensure contractors adhere to contract requirements and specifications stipulated in contract agreement
• Monitoring the progress of work & evaluation of progress claims and variation orders
• To organize weekly site progress meeting with site staff, contractors and consultants and provide timely reports and feedback to the project manager at HQ.
• Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
• Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
• Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computers.
• Any other tasks assigned by the management as and when required

Requirements:

• Minimum a Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Architectural or related discipline
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience with most recent 3 years exposure to high rise building site management in a mid to large property company
• Possess knowledge in Ms Project, Ms Word & Ms Excel
• Possess strong site organizational/ management skills, technical and contractual knowledge
• Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia with excellent communication and writing skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
• Knowledge in Industrialized Building System (IBS) is an advantage
• Posses own transport

Responsibilities:

• Ensure project meets the stipulated quality requirements by closely monitoring & supervising the work of the Subcontractor(s) & to take the appropriate actions timely to remedy any shortcomings;
• Check all construction drawings, identify and highlight discrepancies (if any), and take the appropriate timely follow-up actions;
• Monitor, supervise and Documents controlled, Usage of Materials in a way to prevent or minimize of the wastage, etc.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma and above in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Familiar with JKR Project procedures.
• Willing to based in Marang, Terengganu.
• Able to start work with immediately.
