General Manager Finance
Penang

Responsibilities:
  • Overall management for financial reporting, strategic planning, human resource policy, budget, purchasing, supply chain, costing and information technology (IT). 

  • Enforcement of policies and governance set forth by the CFO and BOD in the financial and administration management of the company.
  • Overall responsible for managing both the revenue and costing elements, making recommendations, monitoring of operating margins and costs controls of the Company. Leading a proper inventory management, variance control and managing of pricing and quotes of new products.
  • Leading and supervising a team of managers, accountants, admin officers,  & other staff to support the activities including but not limited to staffing, training, goal setting & staff career planning, coordinating and performance assessment of the team.
  • Custodian to all statutory (Government) and legal compliances, applications and approvals, including but limited to those of PDC, MIDA, Inland Revenue, Customs, etc. and deal with legal counsel for all legal contents of commercial contracts between Inari and buyers/suppliers/business partners.
  • Planning & executing business continuity strategies and work plans; documentation & IT management in the company, including backups and disaster recovery.
  • Preparing and submitting regular reports (weekly, monthly, annually) on projects, personnel, maintenance, budgets and other performance aspects of the finance department.
  • Evaluating new projects & new investments by Inari - covers the financial evaluation & recommendations on the feasibility of the new projects and investments.
  • Knowledge in Bursa and legal statutory requirements e.g. company accounts, Income Tax Act, FRS and experience in local and laws and regulations, etc

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Master / Degree in Finance Accounting Management or equivalent.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in solid background in Finance and Accounting in a Manufacturing environment.
