Hostel Supervisor
(Selangor)


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the running of daily routine of hostelites and also responsible to the welfare of every hostelites at the respective Hostel and continuously educate/update hostelites on current issues/latest development via hostel notice boards
  • To coordinate new comers to the hostels, conduct transfer , relocation of hostels from time to time
  • Supervising cleanliness and housekeeping for each blocks of the hostel and ensure it is tidy at all time
  • To carry out checking of the hostel and observe any abnormal activities and to ensure that the premises is safe & secure and carry out spot check as and when required.
  • To ensure discipline of hostelites are maintain at all time.
  • To send hostelites to hospital/clinic for emergency cases
  • To conduct ERT Training and fire evacuation exercise under the supervision of EHS team
  • To handle healthy recreational and religious activities as a morale booster for the employees
  • To be a counselor and a friend in times of need for the employees
  • To work with the residence society for a positive relationship between the local residents and WDM
  • To work with the respective local municipal council and police and Indonesian Embassy
  • To assist Indonesian Embassy for events such as festival gatherings (Hari Raya, Christmas, National Day), visits and also coordination of the voting via Embassy
  • Provide weekly reports on all matters
  • Report accidents and incidents cases to immediate supervisor. Also report hazardous conditions and acts.
  • To ensure that company hostels are well maintained in compliance with Government and Statutory body requirements

Requirements: 
  • Tertiary qualification (fresh) or Diploma / HSC with at least two (2) years related working experience; or Degree in Any field
  • The candidate should be confident and fluent in Bahasa Malaysia
  • Preferably a matured Female more than 30 yrs. old
  • Experiences in handling foreign workers, counseling issues is an added advantage
  • Has own transport and willing to stay in Hostel.



Section Head - HRIS
(Selangor)

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees WD’s HR information system (HRIS) in Malaysia. Works with the HR leadership team and IT to assist in the design of the system. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of data in the HRIS and developing, documenting, and following consistent and appropriate HR processes and reporting. Recommends and implements improvements and enhancements to HRIS workflow processes. Ensures processes and systems are working as intended. Reports to the manager of C&B.
  • Manages the development and administration of human resources information systems (HRIS).
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity
  • Consults with staff to design and document business processes, work flow, output (views, queries, interfaces and reports) and data retention requirements.
  • Designs and generates standard reports from HRIS.
  • Researches HR technology trends and best practices.
  • Provides general supervision to individual contributor employees. Assigns and monitors work of human resources information systems offices and analyst. Ensures that staff is adequately trained and responsive to end user needs.
  • Coordinates activities with other internal systems and groups.
  • Coordinates and directs technical projects such as testing and implementing system upgrades.
  • Plans and manages training for end users.
  • Interacts with users and other IT professionals for needs assessment, process improvements, recommended solutions and implementation applications.
Requirements: 
  • Education, Certifications, and/or Licenses and Experience


  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Years of Experience (General Guidelines): 6-10 years of relevant experience


  • Degree of Supervision:


  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures with limited direction and supervision.
  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work; general instructions on new assignments. Acts with discretion to accomplish departmental goals and objectives. Work is generally reviewed upon completion for meeting objectives.


  • Complexity:


  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
  • Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
  • Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues
  • Makes recommendations for new procedures


  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


  • Strong level of knowledge of HR operations and administration.
  • Strong aptitude in math applications.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet time schedules and deadlines, and to multi-task in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
  • Exhibits sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, HRIS systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
